about Fat Rib Set

You will need

For Hat

  • 1 x 100g Buttersoft  - 100m/100g
  • 1 x pair single-pointed size 4.5mm needles

Tension/Gauge: 16 sts to 10 cm or 4sts to 1” over pattern.
Finished size: 40, (45 cm) around

For Scarf

  • 3 x 100g Buttersoft - 100m/100g
  • 1 x pair single-pointed size 6mm needles

Tension/Gauge: 14 sts to 10 cm or 3.5sts to 1” over pattern.

Finished size: 150 cm long, 20 cm wide.

 

There is no such thing as 'normal tension'. We recommend you always make a tension square.

Make sure you are knitting to Ruth and Belinda’s gauge, if not you may end up with a garment that is too small or too big.

Please go up or down a needle size to obtain correct gauge.

 

 

 

How to knit the Fat Rib Set; scarf and hat...

 

The extreme buttery softness of the yarn that we have used for this hat and scarf set is both warm and comforting.

The scarf is outsize and the hat (in two sizes) is snug, both are easy and quick to knit.
