At Ruth and Belinda we sell unique pattern designs, our own exquisite luxury yarn, hand-made rosewood needles, Addi Chrome circular needle sets and rosewood shawl-pins.

Ruth & Belinda have developed their own understanding of how the knitted stitch works and how fibre behaves; how production and processing of yarn affects the environment and most importantly, how hand-knitters and the wearers of hand-knit designs are moved and inspired by what they make.

Ruth and Belinda publish their designs through their own company, intending to hand back forgotten skills, and to demonstrate their fundamental understanding of the structure of the hand-knitted form.

Ruth and Belinda have dreamed of a world where hand knitting can be part of personal growth, independence and expression, more unique beauty, and a certain enveloping softness and warmth.
